FAQ
Answers to the questions FinOps, finance, engineering, and procurement teams ask before bringing their vendor stack into Asozal. Editing this page? Keep answers concrete — link to docs for depth.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a free trial — no contract and no card required to begin. You get the full vendor intelligence and cost-monitoring workflow during the trial so you can see real signal against your own stack before you commit.
What is vendor intelligence?
Asozal builds an evidence-first record for every vendor you track — observed spend, pricing evidence, contract changes, alerts, and renewal risks in one place. It works across any SaaS or cloud vendor you add, turning scattered cost data into something your team can act on rather than a quarterly surprise.
How does cost monitoring work?
Asozal tracks observed spend you record each month alongside workspace and market estimates, and captures pricing evidence over time. Every cost figure is source-labeled, so when something moves you see exactly what changed, by how much, and whether it came from a real invoice amount or an estimate — with the evidence attached so finance and engineering work from the same record.
What triggers an alert?
Alerts fire when a vendor's cost crosses your configured threshold, and when your observed spend moves — a month-over-month increase, an unusual spike, a missing monthly entry, or a renewal approaching with no recent spend evidence. Each alert is banded by severity and carries an executive summary and suggested next steps, so the signal arrives with context instead of just a number.
Can Asozal help with renewals?
Yes. Asozal tracks contract terms and renewal timing per vendor and surfaces what's coming up in a renewal brief, so you walk into a renewal with observed spend, pricing evidence, contract history, and renewal risks rather than last year's assumptions.
How do workspaces work?
Asozal is multi-tenant by design. Each workspace is an isolated container for its own vendors, usage profiles, alerts, and cost estimates — useful for separating teams, business units, or clients while keeping everything under one login.
How is my data handled?
Your vendor and cost data is scoped to your workspace and is never shared across tenants. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your information.
